Network Code of Conduct

Community Guidelines

ProLayers Community is a professional network. These guidelines keep the community valuable, safe, and trustworthy for everyone — dealers, installers, customers, and partners.

Core Standards
No fake or unverified product claims
No private customer data in any post
No dealer-only content shared publicly
No bulletproof / break-in proof security film claims
No spam or unsolicited promotions
No harassment or hostile communication

Purpose of the Community

ProLayers Community exists to support dealers, installers, creators, partners, and customers through public education, private dealer communication, training, mentorship, certifications, webinars, and long-term network engagement. The community is part of the ProLayers ecosystem — not a standalone social platform.

Public vs Dealer-Only Areas

Public areas are open to anyone and include forums, Q&A topics, event announcements, and community guidelines. Dealer-only areas are restricted to approved ProLayers dealers and partners. Do not share dealer-only content, private discussions, or internal communications in public areas.

Respectful Communication

Treat all community members with respect. Disagreements are fine — harassment, personal attacks, discrimination, and hostile communication are not. This applies to public forums, dealer-only areas, and all community channels.

No Spam

No unsolicited promotions, repetitive posts, off-topic content, or self-promotional links in discussion threads. Relevant product or service mentions in appropriate contexts are fine — aggressive promotion is not.

No Private Customer Data

Never post private customer information, contact details, lead data, or customer records in any community area — public or private. Protecting customer privacy is a non-negotiable standard.

No Sharing Dealer-Only Content Publicly

Dealer-only discussions, pricing conversations, internal communications, and private dealer resources must not be shared publicly. Violations may result in immediate suspension.

Responsible Product Claims

All product claims must be accurate, honest, and based on tested or verified information. Do not exaggerate product capabilities, make unverified performance claims, or use misleading language about any ProLayers product or partner product.

Security Film Claim Rules

Security film should not be described as bulletproof, break-in proof, or guaranteed protection unless part of a tested and rated system using approved language. Security film can help hold broken glass together and support forced-entry delay strategies. Performance depends on film, glass, attachment, installation, and system design. Always use responsible, tested claims.

Tint Law Disclaimer

Window tint laws vary by state and window position. Community discussions about tint darkness, legality, and compliance are educational only. Always verify current local regulations before installation. This community does not provide legal advice.

NIL / Media Content Rules

Only approved athlete, creator, and partner content may be shared under the ProLayers brand. Do not post unapproved NIL content, unauthorized brand representations, or content that implies official ProLayers endorsement without approval.

Moderation Rights

ProLayers Community moderators may remove, hide, lock, or archive content that violates these guidelines at any time. Repeated violations may result in suspension or permanent removal from the community. Moderation decisions are final.

Reporting Content

If you see content that violates these guidelines — including unsafe claims, private data exposure, or harassment — report it to the moderation team. Do not engage with or amplify violating content.

Privacy Expectations

Member emails, phone numbers, and private contact information are never shared publicly. Dealer profiles and private group memberships are not exposed to public users. Community data is used only to support the ProLayers network.
